- Requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with AFSC 19671, or equivalent, of which one (1) year must be at the seven (7) levels as an F 15 Avionics Computerized Test station and a Component Specialist Technician.
- Qualification as an F-15 Integrated Computerized Test Station and Component Specialist is mandatory.
- In addition, experience in performing or supervising functions such as the repair, overhaul, or modification of integrated avionics equipment and the use and analysis of intermediate level test equipment is mandatory.
Task and Responsibility
- Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, programs, calibrates and certifies integrated avionic computerized test stations, Support Equipment (SE) and system components at the intermediate level by using shop avionics SE and specialized precision measuring equipment.
- Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, services, modifies, installs, calibrates and certifies avionic computerized test stations and SE, supervises intermediate level integrated avionic component activities.
- Analyzes performance and isolates malfunctions of avionic electronic equipment.
- Inspects, disassembles, repairs, reassembles, aligns, programs, calibrates, modifies and conducts check outs of integrated avionic components.
- Analyzes and isolates avionic computerized test stations and SE malfunctions.
- Certifies, calibrates, modifies, repairs and overhauls avionic computerized test stations and SE.
- Inspects and evaluates components of avionic computerized test stations and SE.
- Perform On-the-Job Training (OJT) for assigned trainees.
- Documents all maintenance actions as prescribed by established procedures.
- Orders and receives parts.
