Skills Level Experience: 2+ years
- Requires a minimum of five (5) year experience in RSAF AFSC 246X0, or equivalent, of which two (2) years must be at the seven (7) level as an F-1S Non-Destructive Inspection Technician.
- Qualification as an F-15 Non-Destructive Inspection Technician is mandatory.
- In addition, experience in performing or supervising functions, such as liquid penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical and ultrasonic equipment tests is mandatory.
Task and Responsibility
- Perform technical Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) of material, parts, components and pressurized systems.
- Interprets and evaluates indications of test methods applied.
- Performs technical NDI functions by examination of material parts and components.
- Operates and utilizes ultraviolet, liquid penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, radiographic, optical and ultrasonic equipment.
- Operates and performs operator maintenance on non-destructive tests and oil analysis equipment.
- Perform bonding tests.
- Interpret and evaluate tests by analysis.
- Orders and receives parts
